Service Toggle
The master on/off switch. When Screening is ACTIVE, all calls proceed through the full pipeline. When PAUSED, every call forwards directly to your personal phone — no screening, no AI, just like a normal phone line. One click from the Dashboard to switch between modes.
STIR/SHAKEN Verification
Every call carries a federal attestation level set by the caller's carrier. Calls with A or B attestation (carrier-verified origin) proceed. Calls with C-level or failed attestation — meaning the origin cannot be confirmed — are immediately routed to voicemail with a polite message.
Trusted Contacts Whitelist
Callers whose numbers are in your approved contacts list are recognized instantly. No AI, no delay — the call rings your phone directly. Add family, clients, doctors, and colleagues to your whitelist from the Contacts page. Unknown callers proceed to the AI screener.
AI Voice Screener
Unknown callers are greeted by a professional AI assistant: "Thank you for calling. May I ask who's calling and the reason for your call?"Callers with a legitimate reason are transferred to your phone with a warm handoff. Sales pitches, robocalls, and vague callers are politely declined and the call ends.
When conditional call forwarding is enabled on your personal phone, CallGuard intercepts unanswered calls after approximately 4 rings (20 seconds) by default. You can adjust this to as few as 2 rings or as many as 6 rings using a simple carrier dial code — instructions are in the Carrier Setup page. Calls to your Twilio number directly are screened immediately with no ring delay.
